It’s our last full day at the school and I wanted to make the most of it. A majority of the girls seem to be used to us being here. There is no more walking into a shy class of girls. I was with them all day today starting at 8 o’clock in the morning. S1 English, S1 Math, two S5 Physics classes, and prep. It was a busy day.

Chelsea, one if the S5 girls that I spend the most time with found me wandering the campus as usual and invited me to her class. Physics. I like physics and the energy and level of participation in this class was amazing. Teacher Gerald is very high in energy and is a good story teller. At the beginning of the class he asked two girls to go to the front of the class. He told one of them to sing as the other did some ballet dancing to the best of her ability. He then began explaining the connection to point of rotation.

After lunch I joined his second S5 Physics class. When it was time to do the activity I was volentold to be the example dancer. I didn’t mind because I’m pretty comfortable around the girls now and it made for a good laugh. I’m really going to miss this: the girls, the campus, the town, the hills, the food, the sunrises and sunsets…I’m going to miss it all. I need to come back, like, soon! Very soon! Thinking about the bond that was created instantly between the girls and I, I realized I never felt home sick. I’m comfortable here.
